About the Residential Energy Association

Founded in 2022 in San Francisco, the Residential Energy Association educates, connects, and advocates for the professionals who bring energy solutions to American homes.

REA is governed by a volunteer board of directors drawn from across the residential energy industry, including solar, storage, HVAC, roofing, finance, and sales operations leadership.

The association's work centers on raising professional standards, expanding access to training and accreditation, and giving the residential energy workforce a unified voice with policymakers.
